  • Avani and weaving were perpendicular lines that never intersect. Avani wanted to become a dancer but due to the economical condition, he had to join the weaving profession. Passionate about weaving new designs Avani and his team are not only earning a livelihood but also giving the traditional technique of hand-weaving a new life. “Depends upon how you see it!” says Avani, a weaver who has been weaving the saree and dupattas since when he was 15. Avani, a 35-year-old man, has always believed in destiny and his skill. Avani has always seen his parents and elder brother weaving, as a kid, he always participated in pre loom activities. Later after school, he started to weave and loves to create unique designs. Avani aspires to take forward the family tradition of weaving with the small family business. With the seven handlooms that his family already has, Avani with his team works hard for each and every piece of the Linen sarees and dupattas.
