Bikas Mahapatra, coming from a creative, talented and percussionists family. Bikas Mahapatra was grown up learning about dying and weaving when Bikas was 12 when he started working with the other elder members of the house. “ Behind every successful man, there is a strong woman”, here Bikas’s mother is the one who has taught him about every essential detail about bandha work. Bikas has always been motivated by his mother to work the way he loves to work. When Bikas turned 19, he was sent to Surat to learn from the textile industry. Present-day Bikas is working to take forward his family work to the highs no one has imagined.
