Depends upon how you see it!” says Shatrughna, a weaver who has been weaving the saree and dupattas since when he was 15. Shatrughna, a 35-year-old man, has always believed in destiny and his skill. Shatrughna has always seen his parents and elder brother weaving, as a kid, he always participated in pre loom activities. Later after school, he started to weave and loves to create unique designs.Shatrughna got married at the age of twenty-two to Sujata, a girl from the same village. After the wedding, they both became fully involved in weaving. Shatrughan aspires to take forward the family tradition of weaving with the small family business. With the five handlooms that his family already has Shatrughna with his wife, Sujata and other members weaver Tussar sarees and dupattas. Passionate about weaving new designs Shatrughna and Sujata are not only earning a livelihood but also giving the traditional technique of hand-weaving a new life.
