Jayabati is running a Kantha embroidery apparel business since the last twenty years and currently engages over 400 rural women for embroidery job work. Each design that Jayabati draws is unique. She sources fabrics for sarees and dupattas directly from the weavers of Bakreshwar thus ensuring high quality standards. She markets her products through resellers of Bolpur and Kolkata, outlet at Sristishree, Siuri, different trade fairs and exhibitions in different states. DIC has awarded her for her exemplary contribution to Kantha embroidery.
