Sayeda is a trained artisan of Kantha Stitch as she participated in workshop of DIC (Suri) and training of DRDC-Birbhum. She always wanted to ensure the best education for her son and that required financial wellbeing. So, in 2013 she started this fashion and textile business and now this business is one of the sources of livelihood for 500 rural families. She wholesales women’s apparel to different resellers and boutiques in Kolkata and also retails at different government fairs. Tussar saree and dupatta are the bestselling products.
